Derrick Henry born January 4, 1994, is an American football running back for the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans.
His commanding rushing game and larger-than-average size earned him the moniker “King Henry.”
Where did Derrick Henry go to college? Did Derrick Henry play college football?
Henry received his college education from the University of Alabama where he studied communication.
He played football for the school team and chalked up some huge successes. Henry had 111 rushing yards and his first collegiate rushing touchdown in a 52-0 win over Arkansas on October 19, 2013.
He carried for 100 yards and a touchdown on eight carries in the 2014 Sugar Bowl and had a 61-yard touchdown reception.
Because of his long stride and muscular pace, Spanish-language ESPN Deportes broadcaster Pablo Viruega dubbed him “El Tractorcito” (The Little Tractor).
In the 2014 season, he recorded 113 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, which he won 33-23.
For the Crimson Tide, Henry and Yeldon split the brunt of the backfield work. He scored two rushing touchdowns in the annual rivalry game against Auburn, which he won 55-44.
